Rear curtain sync Flash

Gallery: Man & NaturePosted March 21, 201140 views3 comments

Was out hunting for the super moon , but nature had different plans and a distant thunderstorm ruled the horizon...
I like how the lightning acted like a rear curtain flash and froze the turbine blades ..
Had to convert this to B&W coz the sky was too orangish

shot with a Sigma apo 70-300 on 7D
5 Sec
100 mm , f/5.6 ISO 120

Critiques appreciated

Love the statement here. The lightening in the background makes wind power seem like a moot point, doesnt it? I am curious about the orange sky. (I dont think there can be too much orange, myself). Thanks for sharing this.

Nice timing Manoj. I like how you caught not only the lighting but also the motion of the wind mills.
