For my recent post of the pair of blue-winged teals people said they would rather have a pair facing opposite directions centered, so I used that suggestion for these two. I *think* this is a female and a juvenile male, but I'm not sure, and I'm not sure which is which. All feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Barbra, I do like two birds in an image, especially when they are both sharp and these are. Good composition. Catvch light in the eye of both birds is a plus.

love the textures in the water here, Barbara. I think the poses work well together. seems like maybe it could use a little CW rotation?

Really nice Barbara. Great sharpness on the bird and the water is great. I agree that this needs a bit of CW rotation. Take the measuring tool in PS and draw a line from the tip of the forward bird's bill down to the tip of the reflection of that bird's bill in the water. The line will be straight up and down if the image is level. If it is not it needs rotation in what ever direction is necessary to straighten the line.

Good job getting them both sharp and light in both eyes Barbara. I like your centered comp for the reason you mention. Agree about rotation and Ron's advice as to how to tell if an image needs it (in most cases).

Very nice. Usually I would say better without the birds overlapped but in this case I think it works perfectly how they are. Adds some tension. The blue of the water is beautiful and your details are spot on.

Nice natural colors and good job getting both reasonably sharp Barbara, it does need a fair bit of ccw. :toast:

Barbara, this is delightful. Having them both sharp is a real plus.
