Shot at Ft Desoto a couple of weeks ago. Kinda wish I had tried a vertical on this one, but I still liked the early lighting on this. Cropped full frame from right to 4x5 from 4/3rds format.

Nice shot Bill, good exposure, sharpness and I like the colors and background. I agree with you about a vertical for the reflection but it's still nice as posted too.

If I had a dime for every time I cut off a reflection I wish I had, I would be a rich man Bill! I still love the exposure, light and colors on this. Really pleasing image!

Lovely light and pose from the bird. The cut-off reflection not a scene stealer. Love the little ripples around the bird too.

I know what you mean about the reflection but it isn't a killer here. The light and pastel coloring combined with that pose gives plenty to appreciate.

Great lighting Bill and nice eye contact. Sharpness looks good. Based on the ripples I might consider a little CCW rotation.
