Hello :)

I enjoyed the mix of lines from this amazing cloud and the snow path.It was during an autumn workshop in november in the french alps near 'Briançon' , but , in fact, we camped in the snow .. winter was already here.
I've used the canon 16-35 @16 mm With a polarizer only.

The almost mirror-image of the snow patterns and clouds is striking. Wonderful shot! The sky is a bit dark from the polarizer and I'd probably like the near-blacks to be more of a dark blue, but it doesn't bother me much. From purely a stylistic perspective, I kind of like the darkness of the sky and the mood it adds to the image.

Wow Alexandre that is an attention getter. Nice job! :toast:

I'm not big on black skies (polarization) but that is just a personal thing. I'd likely move it toward blue more.

This has a great graphical feel to it, Alexandre. The dark sky with contrasting white clouds works beautifully. Excellent work.

Excellent lines, and a perfect wedding of elements! The beautiful clouds are enhanced by the dramatic foreground, and the clouds make the foreground even more dramatic.

Alexandre: Wonderful comp but obviously a tough exposure problem. For me the FG snow and the clouds in the URC are too gray. Of course the BG mountains are perfectly exposed so some judicious curves work might be in order. I kind of like the dark sky. >=))>

I love the lines in the snow! I could see them a tad whiter, maybe. I do like it as is. :toast:

I like it, strong shapes and lines, very dynamic. A black&conversion conversion could make an even stronger image.

I love how the clouds kind of mimic the lines in the FG snow. I do agree that the whites in the FG could be a little whiter, but it's still very nice as is. Excellent composition, and beautiful blues in the sky.

Pretty great lines. And holy cloud. Would be tempted to see what a b/w version looks like too :) Nice work

Beautiful lines. The sky look a bit too black for me.
