Still working the Gerbera blooms. I appreciate all the comments and suggestions in my first 2 gerbera posts.

This one is from a bit different point of view and I stacked 3 images for focus in PS - first ever attempt so please let me know if I could do anything to improve the stacking technique.

Steve: Good looking result. I like how you filled the frame on this one. The stack looks pretty good to me but since that's a skill I've yet to learn I'll defer to Pat, Ian and others who are accomplished with the technique to comment. Nicely done. >=))>

Steve a really nice background to go with the soft delicateness of the flower. My only nit would be to give it a bit more room on the bottom of the flower.

I like the amount of DOF you have with the stacking with the front sharp blending into softness in the rear. Nice color and BG, well done Steve.

Steve, I like the comp and the strong diagonal across the picture plane. The colours are to die for. I'll defer to the stacking experts to give you their thoughts.

I agree with the others that this is a beautiful image Steve. I don't see any stacking artifacts of any kind. The subject could be sharper as you move into the image but you may have deliberately kept your plane of focus out of that area to keep the bg soft. I'd say you succeeded if so. Fine work for my tastes.
