Gannet courtship

by Andy Shepherd

Gallery: Regional: UKNPPosted March 12, 2011230 views17 comments

Gannets reaffirming their bond, these magnificent birds pair for life and after months apart, out at sea, it's time to renew the vows. The courtship display consists of mutual bowing, shakes of the head and lots of billing.

All C&C's most welcome and thanks for the feedback on my last post.
