I love those early mornings at the beach. Every time we go to this location on the Outer Banks, it is different, and I never tire of finding another photograph here and making it different from the last ones.

A beautiful photograph but I must admit that the small size of the actual photo is disappointing and the elaborate framing is to me distracting.

OK, Dolph, I'm undoing the framing, but that's as large as I'll go! I come from the old school where we edited 35mm slides. We didn't need larger to critique images! You're a retired surgeon. Did you need large to figure out what was what as you wielded the knife?

I think the unframed version shows the beauty of this place Margo. .....and it is gorgeous in the repost. The framing in the original is a distraction and the image is too small to appreciate IMO. BTW - I have done 35mm, medium format, and some 4X5 for 30 years before going digital a few years ago. You can use a digital watermark with web crawling capability if that matters.

I have lousy eyesight (which is why i quit my job as a surgeon--killed one too many patients  ) so i really like the repost here, such a calm and beautiful atmosphere, makes me want to be on that beach!

Beautiful shades and a consistent composition, Margo! The second post is really great, and I am sure a still larger version would be able to reveal even more delicate details in the foreground!

beautiful shot, and much better without the frame at this size.

Glad you all like the large size, and yes, Eva, I do use Digimarc and have since 1998, but there is such a lack of respect for copyright these days. Well, you all know what I mean. For everything one does, there is a way of undoing it.

We head back to this location in just over a month, and I can't wait!
