Thanks for the comments and suggestions on my previous image.

Inspected a dozen or so tulips and finally found this one acceptable for this shot. I really liked how the curved petals framed the stigma and stamens. I've got a few other compositions I'll be posting in the near future.

Pentax K-7; f/14, 2.0sec, ISO-200; Tamron 90mm macro.

Thanks for taking the time to look, C&C appreciated.

Rich colouring, spot on sharpness and a viewpoint that presents the interior to perfection. Excellent image, Derek !

Your tulip selection is excellent. I really like how the petals are all curve to the same extent and the suttle pastel colouring of them. Love the detail and POV. Most excellent.

I agree with all the kudos. My only complaint is that it's almost too good to be true. Are you sure it's not a silk flower?

Absolutely stunning, Derek! Like the simplicity with the black BG and the clear focus and detail of the tulip. Interesting POV to be able to see inside.

Beautiful colors. I love the sharpness. The soft light works perfectly, and the black background really makes this flower stand out. Awesome shot!
