This was quite a storm. A minute later, we were all drenched to the bone, but it was worth it!

Nice composition and elements in this scenic. The clouds are ominous and add greatly to the image. Do wish that you had posted a larger version to enjoy.

Classic image. I can feel the storm roaring in over the prairie. The red roof on the barn adds a very nice contrast to the rest of the image. I like it a lot.

It does look like quite a storm, and you did a good job capturing it before the drenching. I agree, it looks like it was worth it. My only suggestion for possible improvement is do a bit of dodging and burning to lighten up and emphasis the barn a bit.

I don't usually care for borders but this one works ok. The comp looks good and the red on the barn stands out well against the clouds. I'd like a larger version to enjoy the details of this image.

Thanks for all your comments. I know many of you like larger images, but I made a decision a long time ago with all the disrespect for copyright issues to keep the sizes smaller.

Interesting comment about dodging the barn siding. It goes to show we all have different visions. I had already experimented with that, but to me, it lost the ominous tone that was there, as it was already raining, and it was dark. The roof was light, because it was wet and reflected what little light there was. I can still remember that drenched feeling as I quickly turned into a soggy biscuit!
