This was taken in a woods behind my house where several wild cherry trees grow.

The bloom is beautiful Carolyn but the bg really hooks me in this too. Love the painterly quality of it. I like the image very much.

Hi Carolyn! I find this photo to be very artistic. The colors of the blossom, along with excellent lighting and good detail, against the muted and well balanced background make this shot. Very nice capture.

The BG really makes this for me Carolyn. Pat is right I am first drawn to the BG and then to the flower, very cool image.

Very nice focus on the main bloom Carolyn. I like the BG too, though I could see softening up the branch in the BG.

Very fine image, Carolyn ! The flower and buds are just beautifully captured, and, like Pat, I am entranced by the bg - all the shapes and lines there act as perfect foils for the main subject.

Definitely looks like a painting, especially with the background. Beautiful shot.

Hi Carolyn Very rarely does a BG compliment a blossom like this one does!! The Cheery blossom is beautifully done, with great color and detail!1 Live it!!
