I think this works well as an abstract. The pink in the trunks is really cool.

That came out great. The stack really worked well for this. This makes me feel like I am out there in a canoe.

Wonderful intimate view David! I especially like the salmon colored part of the trunks. Almost abstract in a way. Your views of this place always captivate me with their beauty.

One of my favorite trees, cypress, captured beautifully. I'm speechless.

Excellent David! Love the strong composition and grat detail. Beautiful in both the trunks and chocolate milk water. One of my favorites of yours.

Nice, nice, nice, David. The comp and textures are superb. Could see burning down the top to bring out those colors a bit more.

I have tried this type of shot but our trees just aren't as nice and buttressed usually. Love the bands from the waterlines. I could even see cropping down to remove the background so it is only trunks.

Everything works exceptionally well from the composition, exposure, color layers at the waterline, blending to the detail.

I absolutely love this - a super composition and, whilst it has an abstract element, there's also clarity in terms of understanding what you are looking at. Lovely gentle colours too.

Excellent work added to your arsenal of images from this ecosystem. The 3 distinct sections of the cypress really catch my attention.

Great choice to stack for DOF. The detail here is incredible and the processing is very smooth. Great tones and subtle colors. Very excellent work.

Phenomenal image. Such great texture and the layers retreating into the background make for a fine visual journey.

Spectacular, David! The details are phenomenal, and the subtle but clear pinks are fascinating. I particularly love the depth offered by the distant tree with the lichen/moss vine wrapped around it.

Beautiful tones and detail. A real nice abstract. How does it work without the focus stack, foreground sharp and background soft?
