Another shot of one of the geese feeding in the flooded paddock. It's calling to others flying overhead.

ISO 400 f6.3 1/800 under camo in flooded grass

cheers

That is an unusual looking goose but I always like your low angle approach, really puts you right into the image, well done.

Nice angle and light spotlighting that prehistoric-looking head.

Great shot with the bird calling. You must have been right at water level to get this view. Congratulations on the photo and your willingness to get down and among them. That water must have been cold! :toast:

What a crazy looking goose. (crazy for me at least).
Nice eye contact and details. I like the low angle of view also. Color looks really good.
Well done. :toast:

nice one, Rob, you must have gotten wet for this one. good exposure on the whites and excellent techs all around as usual for you. my first reaction was that it was a little too centered, but your comment gives me pause in that respect, as now I'm envisioning the others flying over from right to left and I like the room at left for him to turn his head to follow them.

That's one weird looking goose, Rob. That beak/bill looks like it could do some damage. Nice techs and action......really well done.
