I love the pose! I also really like the sharpness, his colours, and the green background helps him stand out. Great picture!

The nuthatch is beautiful and the pose is great. Lovely setting, light, details and sharpness. The chestnut colored feathers are interesting.

I was thinking the same as you Karen when I first saw this, all the ones around here don't have those brown feathers.
