Ancient weathered rock and sinuous ghost gums make for many subjects in this central Australian canyon. Early morning light.

Welcome to NPN Rob. Beautiful terrain and nice image. I like the composition as it allows me to get a good grasp of the texture and color of those great walls. Looks like a great place to shoot and play.

I love this it feels very natural, oh wait it's that Rob guy again! You photos really put you there. I think the vignette may be a little strong but only certain parts compared to others. Great natural view!

I like when you "see" the LF film in an image as it's the case here. Great colors and contrasts. My only nit would be the dark corner in the LLC - looks a little isolated. Otherwise - wonderful.

Rob, an interesting and strong composition. I like your picture a lot, especially the fine detailed textures.

Great composition of this very beautiful place. I especially love the glow on the distant canyon wall....always a great subject with those ghost gums

It is lovely rock in an ancient landscape. I agree with the comment from Andreas Resch, the composition is somewhat unbalanced. If I was there again I'd try moving the camera a little forward and to the right to make the LHS wall more of a flat expanse.
Thanks again for all feedback.

Welcome, Rob. Nice first post and I hope to see more from this rugged and beautiful place.
For me the sky is a bit distracting. I would try cropping the sky out and a bit from the left side of the photo.

I like the perspective in this, and the light bouncing off the rocks. The bright patch of sky is a little distracting, but I don't see a crop that would be able to keep the nicely-lit canyon wall at the top...

I like this without the sky. Wonderful textures and colors in these rocks.
