Bucky Beaver

Went out to shoot avian and got skunked. The temps were in the low 20's and after 5 hours I was getting somewhat discouraged and chilly. Then along came "Bucky" the beaver and flashed that winning smile, which kinda said..."hang in there guy, it's bound to happen". Needless to say I was very appreciative.

Thanks for taking a peek.

Great shot, nice and sharp, good composition. The large version could do with an extra bit of sharpening on the face, IMO, as it looks a bit soft and I'm sure it's not :-)

This is a tough subject to capture well and I think your treatment of the water texture really helps make this image.

I get skunked a lot and can relate... Bucky looks pretty good, a bit more sharpening perhaps to see those nice yellow incisors as Ingrid suggested. Good comp.

I can imagine this guy made your day on a chilly dull light day like that Chuck. I like the diagonal placement, but the dull light does not help this a lot.

Love that winning smile Charles, nice choppers too
Sometimes we get a small glimpse of that light at the end of the tunnel, it keeps us going.
"Hang in there guy" :wavey:
Well done :toast:
