Hi,

Just returned from Norway. Again an amazing trip with wonderful guests. The weather has been kind to us and we can add a lot of new species to our archive. One of them is the eider duck. This male was having a sold water drink. Beautiful bird.

Fantastic shot Edwin - love the colours, and the drop of water on its breast :toast: :toast:

Very fine detail, nice comp and colours, and an unusual and effective pose!
The water drops are a nice plus, too.
Very well done!
Sounds like a great trip!

Great colours and detail.

Love the different view of this duck... the bird really pops from the pastel shades of the water

Hmmm, all the way to Norway for a duck? Any real birds? :) OK, I like this but I miss the eye contact, but the different pose and great angle make it work.

Thanks all. To Norway for a duck? Of course not, you should know better

For me, I'd like to have seen a truly symmetrical shot, as this feels just a little off balance somehow - not easy of course! I do like the idea very much though.
