Spring Flowers

Nikon D300, Sigma 150. F/11, 1/60, ISO 200.

This was done last spring, flowers don't bloom in Quebec before late April. The two tulips and the daffodil make a nice trio. Yes, this is a tulip! This species has petals that really open up. Comments appreciated.

Albert: Delightful! My only suggestion - and it is a minor one - would be to clone away the leaf in the LRC. Pretty sweet eye candy here. >=))>

Beautiful colors Albert. I also like the composition. That leaf in the lower right corner is interesting. I like it but Terri thinks it doesn't belong there either and I'm never comfortable disagreeing with Bill. I'll be interested to see if it draws more comments. I like the image.

Beautiful! The colors contrast nicely with each other and the black background. What to clone out can be tricky and a matter of taste. I probably would agree with Bill about cloning out that leaf but I think it also is quite nice as is.

I knew this was yours before opening it up, Albert ! It's such a wonderful grouping, beautifully coloured and lit, the surrounding darkness setting off these blooms to perfection.

Wonderful arrangement you found Albert! The color combination is beautiful, and I like the dark BG. I have to agree about cloning the leaf in the LR. It just kind of feels disconnected to me.

Great colors Albert and the comosition is very appealing also.
It appears the daffodil is slightly softer than the tulips, but it's hard to tell on this work monitor. It certainly doesn't hurt the image though. Nice work.

A lovely combination of vibrant colors here, Albert! The yellow daff really sets off the red flowers. Excellent work!

Very nice trio and the colors are great Albert. The dark BG really sets em' off too.
I assume you used tripod? so I would've tried for a bit more DOF, bringing the yellow daffodil in focus since it's in front. Just my two cents
Well done :toast:
