Amazing detail throughout this beautiful image. I love the swirls in the rock formations. The red lighthouse is a perfect visual resting point in the composition. I bet this lighthouse could offer up endless photo opportunities depending on season and time of day.

this is really good picture and great composition, I like the colours but I think it will be more better if take it with sunset or sunrise time, you can see the warm side of this place.

thanks,

Love it, Eva! The rocks are magnificent and remind me of lava. Great comp with positioning the lighthouse for the reflection pool.

WOW, so many possibilities here Eva, what a gorgeous spot and this is very well done--a definite fave of yours! I can see abstracts and different comps all over it for further exploration.

This is very nice, Eva. I love looking at lighthouse pictures. I like the comp too with the reflection. Someday I will make it that way I hope.

What a lovely shot. I like the contrast between the swirls and rounded textures in the rocks and the lighthouse adds some novelty. The front-to-back sharpness is great. It seems that I need to add the TS-E to my lens wish list.

Eva: This is so cool. We have a trip up this way scheduled for early October. Its the only part of the continental US I've never visited and this light is on my list of must sees. Great comp and just a beautiful presentation.>=))>

Lovely scene Eva, I've always enjoyed looking at these lighthouse shots. I used to go to Maine on vacation with my family every year when I was a kid, this certainly brings back memories. Thanks for posting.
