Rockport TX.

D3 ISO 200. 300/2.8 with 2x tc. f 5.6 1/1600s. -0.7ev.

I just spent the weekend on the Middle Texas Coast shooting with my 2 friends, Dottie Short and Melody Massey. It was beautiful with mid 70s temperatures and blue skies. I think we all came away with some good shots.

This was my first image of an Avocet.

Nice position in the frame, and parallel to the camera for god sharpness with limited DOF.

This Avocet image is better than mine. All of mine had water up to the belly and looked as if they were floating. This is a really nice one. Great work Angela. It was a fun weekend.
