This is an older image from my trip to Switzerland in October, last year, with Andreas Resch. This was my very first sunset at Stelli lake and the most dramatic of the whole 1 week trip. It's a pretty standard composition I know, the light was pretty wild, but again nothing you haven't seen before. I just had to take it.

I think this works very well. The mountain in the center is pretty static, but there's movement in the clouds and my eye flows around and around making this feel dynamic. The lighting is terrific.

Dorin, the static composition fits in well with the majestic scene. The colors are exceptional, I especially appreciate the natural look.

Hi Dorian, wow what a place! I love the yellow grass contrasting with the blues and reds. The Matterhorn is a little too centered for my taste, but I agree with Mark and think given the clouds this works pretty well. I think if you darkened the band of mountains across the frame -- more contrast -- it would be a little more dramatic for me.

Beautiful shot! I agree with Matt, a bit more contrast on the BG mountain, as well as a bit darker reflection. :toast:

I think everything is perfect except that the shadows in the distant mountains seem too bright. Very nice shot though.
