Raw file processed in PSE9, cloned out some other vegetation, darkened the water, sharpened, did not apply any "art" filters or create any of the lines or patterns you see in the water.
All feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Later—pennywort it is.
What I did was to clone out some other vegetation, as I said, and then use the paint bucket to even out the remaining color around the outside, which was blue. I used the paint bucket inside, too, in some spots, and I probably need to clean that up more, and that's probably what you're seeing, Charlie. The blue outside was too bright for me, so I tried just changing the hue/saturation of the blue, but I still didn't like it. So then I decided to change that blue to very, very dark. Most of the colors of the water on the inside weren't ever the same color as the water on the outside, so they didn't change. I was really, really surprised to see the pattern in the water that I could see at the edge of the inside water after darkening the outside water so much. That pattern was there, it just couldn't really be seen before.
But, yes, if I was going to use this image for anything I'd need to clean up a half dozen or so inside places more than I did here. I didn't mean to be lazy, though. I had spent so much time looking at it that I probably didn't see some of the little spots clearly enough.

I like the comp, the light and the reflection. Great work.

I do like this a lot. Very special color to the water with cool reflection. Very please to see you progress so quickly from literal to artsy images
