Green Man - Trees theme

Back story: Driving past a local chainsaw carver's home I spied Brian had carved a "green man" into a dying tree in his front yard. The suprising/appealing part were the mushrooms growing around the edges where the bark was carved away. I thought it was a great scene. Brian didn't think so, because, he removed them shortly after this shot was taken.
I replaced the BG with a textured one since the original one was his next door neighbour's house.

Well seen Bob - unique and interesting. I think the mushrooms are a great adornment for the man. I'm surprised Brian didn't leave them. Your bg couldn't be any better. Outstanding image for my tastes.

The warm tones and unique scene are very nice Bob. I'm with you, I think the mushies are quite nice and add a wonderful dimension to the image.

Looks like the tree is not very happy with the carving on its trunk. and is revolting

or was the tree dead when this happened? This is a very interesting capture, which can solicit humour and thought.
