Eric, I like the light under the wings (something I struggle with), the fish and the slight tilt of the head that gives us a nice look at the eye. The small patch of white behind the eye looks a little bright and I might play with bringing overall exposure down slightly to see how it looks on the darker plumage.

I agree with Ron D's assessment Eric. I like the shot and the intense look on the bird's face. Too me the image is a bit bright overall. I would bring it down globally and then work on the whites on the top of the head and the yellows on the feet. I might also reduce the contrast a bit. Cheers.

Great detail here, Eric. the outstretched wings and of course the catch really make this work. A couple hotspots, but nothing that can't be fixed.

Eric,

Great eye contact and positioning. Do you mind if I ask if you were using a tri pod? This is a beautiful shot either way.

Really a nice shot. I love the spread wings and the 'fierce" look. My only criticism is that it looks a bit contrasty on my monitor. You have posted some nice eagle shots here lately. Did you use a blind or did the eagle accept your presence. The eagles I have seen down here in Texas won't let you get close enough for a shot like this.
