After e period of rain and thaw, which caused high water in January, the flood receded and we had fall of snow again. The picture shows a scene in the Danube Floodplains in Lower Austria.

Analog shot, Mamiya super 23 with Sekor 100mm/3.5, f/11, Fujichrome Velvia 50 (rollfilm 120, 6x9cm)

Very, very strong shot here Peter! This has it all for me. An interesting composition, some really cool color and contrast and it shows the park in a very interesting state. I was checking out the Au at Schönau a couple of weeks ago, but I did not get anywhere due to the flooding. Interesting to learn what interesting compositions can be found after the flood.
Sure my favourite of yours so far.

Very nice with interesting dominant lines amidst all the chaos. My only nit would be the overpowering purple tones in the center of the shot. I don't mind vivid colors but next to the rather warm mood of the foreground snow it stands out a bit too much.

For such a complex view without a strong focal point, this works exceptionally well. The color and contrast here look great.

This is very effective Peter, if you don't get to shoot in and around these types of scenes then you can't realize how difficult it is to do. You have done a good job of showing this slice of forest. I would echo Andreas in that I see some purple tones through out, I was wondering if you pulled back to far on the highlight recovery tool. Very nice Peter. Cheers

Its well presented. Personally, a bit too 'messy' for me--at least the bg, im more drawn to the order of the ground and log up front.
