Red-backed Shrike

Crop from the original for composition.
I liked the warm colors on the cold rainy background.

C&C welcome.

It is a lovely picture. My only wish is that the green OOF leaf was not there. Still very nice.

A beautiful shrike species Maurizio. I like the simplicity of the image and the soft colors. Good job getting light in the eye in these conditions. The OOF foreground leaf is slightly bothersome IMO.

Very nice shot, Maurizio. Too bad for the green OOf leaf, but nothing you can do with it !

What a great looking bird Maurizio. So much like our shrikes but with more color. I love the comp, but do wish the OOF leaf was not in front of the bird. Minor nit.

Thank you all for watching. Couldn't agree more on the out of focus leaf!

Maurizio,
beautiful bird and beautiful image. I like how the colors of the bird stands out from the grey background.
