Works great for me, Julian. Especially the rock in the ULC is wonderful and I like how the branch is positioned over the rock. Looking at the upper half I wonder if a little brightening of the midtones in the lower half makes any sense - just a thought.

This works great for me also. I really like the looks of this and I think it is a lot because of the wonderful comp you came up with. I also feel the branch works very well here. I like the blue color with the silver/grays. This is nice work, Julian.

The gradation in tone is lovely Julian. The comp has a real nice flow to it and all the lines keep the eye moving really nicely. The lack of colours is sweet, even though there is movement and tension in the water the colour scheme is very calm and relaxing. The upper left corner with the tree could be a photo in it's own right. Cheers

The textures and tonal range of the rocks is very striking Julian.

Yes, I agree with Andreas - this looks great. The stick is neat, it adds something.

Such a cool location and so far, your images do it justice. I really like the layering and the clear separation between the rocks and the water. Very impressive!

I really like the tight comp and all the textures created by the rocks. Nice!

The water action and these striking rocks have been combined perfectly here. Another nice one, Julian. I will be watching out for other posts from this series.

An inspiring and strong composition, Julian, with the flow of the water contrasted to the steadiness of the rocks. The cool colors are consistent with the expression of your picture.
