A portrait of a robin at my balcony feeder.
Lit bit of cloning out of disturbing background just above the head. Slight crop from the right side for composition.
C&C welcome.

Nice shot, Maurizio. Good exposure on the bird, nice colors and details too. IMHO the BG looks a bit too bright.

Maurizio, this is a nice look at this robin. For me the BG overwhelms the bird a bit. If you could bring down the BG a bit it would help I think.

Sweet pose and beautiful bird Maurizio. I like the eye contact. Agree with Ron B on the background.

Thank you very much for your opinions. :toast:
To my eyes the BG isn't that overwhelming (maybe I should learn to prepare better the images for the web!), but I will try to tone it down in PS and ask for your opinion again.
Having said that, I have to confess this is something I don't like to do much, because I feel it sort of modify in a big way the moment captured. The BG was sunlit, the bird was not. To me there is some sort of beauty in this. I am not sure if altering the BG I will cross the border between photography and graphic art… What are your opinions?
