Hi All,
It's been a while since I last posted... but Phil and I managed to get out and about yesterday, albeit dull and very windy.
1D Mk3, 100-400 @340, f5.6, ISO400, 1/40 hand held.
All the best,
Fran

As Jules said,1/40 sec handheld is impressive on a nice portrait.

I'd be pleased with this one, Fran. Good job re the 1/40th, I struggle to capture sharp shots at a 1/1000th

Hi Fran, great detail and the colour looks spot on, I take my hat off to you on the 'techs'.
Personally would have preferred a slightly lower POV, as I get the feeling you are shooting slightly down hill? Also more of a head turn towards camera, as he looks like he was about to scratch or lick his coat, but that's just me. Still like it as presented.
