Again, I want to thank everyone who commented on my previous post, I didn't realize it would go over so well. Here's another abstract winter scene I took a few weeks ago. As always, your comments and critiques are much appreciated! Thanks for looking and please view large for more detail.

Zack,

Fabulous! If you step back, I mean step back and out of objectivity, I see a new graphic symbol in there somewhere. Might be tough to replace your grizzly paw, but the graphic nature of this is wonderful. Having said that, I just love the visual contrast or tension between the vertical, not-so perfectly straight trunks up front, against the zig-zagging curves and patters of the background. This is very cool. Well seen and captured.

Well the thumb didn't grab me for a while, but I'm glad it did in the end! Thats a great image Zack, I agree with the others, it'd look great on a wall, big. I admire the originality of composition. Must check out your earlier post.

I like this concept a lot Just wondering about cropping some of the bottom to focus in on the criss-cross.

A graphic image with good depth of field. The background is enough to hold my attention, but the trees certainly make this much more unique. Great job Zack!

Fascinating combination of the vertical trees and the meandering river, very creative take! I would have preferred a composition with less on the bottom, and some more room on the top, but I suspect you likely had to cut the top short due to some distractions up there..

Fantastic Zack! I'm thinking of a crop off the bottom but not really, more of a lowering of the camera and a slight raising of the angle as I like the overall dimensions but maybe just a little less snow. Anyways.. I love the graphic feel and details in the tree trunks. :toast:
