Burrowing Owl

This is a captive burrowing owl with a "treat" in his mouth. The handler's glove is seen at the bottom. This was taken at the International Center for Birds of Prey in Charleston SC.

Good post Kate. The eyes are great and the tight crop fits well.

I only had a few moments but I went to your website and will return again very soon. I also live in Charleston and that grabbed my eye.
