Great light Igor. Looks like such a pleasant scene, just lovely! I don't own a macro lens so I really can't comment on that.

Beautiful, soft light and perfect composition.

I often use my nikkor 105 macro for telephoto shots because it just so happens to be one of the sharpest pieces of glass in my bag. If you can get the compo your looking for at that focal length without needing the zoom range, I say go for it.

Great light and I love the transition of color in the trees. I travel very light so usually cary a macro instead of a zoom telephoto, so agree that if it works for you to shoot such scenes it works for me! Sometimes the DOF is a little tricky though. Thanks for sharing this area we don't often get to see!

This has some beautiful glowing light and all those vertical lines are very eye catching. One of my favorite lenses is a 70mm macro and I use it for other than macro shots because it is such a sharp lens.

Igor, excellent vertical lines. The soft light is very appealing here.

Beautiful image. I like the open area in the foreground, it pulls me into the picture and makes me want to explore as far as I can see.

This is nice, Igor. There appears to be just enough haze to separate the trunks as they recede in the distance. Really feels like being there.

Love the array of vertical lines of the trees, and that warm light and hint of fog that gives this a wonderful mood. Beautiful image. That 60mm Nikkor macro is a fantastic lens for everything from macro to the wide landscape in my opinion but I always used it with film, and still do occasionally. As I don't shoot digital, I don't know if using it on a DSLR makes any difference.

Prime macro lenses are most always very sharp so keep using them. I'm always drawn to these images and you've done a beautiful job setting up this composition. Very good work, love it!

very nice light and place - i'm drawn to the transition from greys to warms in the trunks in the upper part of the image. maybe using a larger lens to select out some of those areas could also have been interesting?
