Another Puffin photo from Skomer Island, Wales, UK.
Taken with an entry level Sony A350, I can't wait to let my Nikon D3 have a go at these birds later this year, I'm sure it'll be a lot different.

Sony A350
Sigma 50-500
1/800th
f7.1
ISO 100
230mm
-0.3 stop exposure compensation
Hand held

Hi Geoff,

I would hope so too as otherwise you have p***ed around 6K up the wall

Still if thats what you get with an entry level camera and a lens which "some" regard as a milk bottle with zoom facility then I cant wait to see what can be achieved with the new kit.

Anyway back to the Puffin.

Its a great shot Geoff sharp and well exposed so no real nits from me :toast:
