Here's a photograph that took during our NC Wildlife and Landscapes workshop at Cape Point, Cape Hatteras National Seashore. We didn't have the wicked wave action at Cape Point as normal but the light on the water was outstanding and the hundreds of dead starfish was a bonus (maybe not for them but definitely for us!)

Really unusual shot, Jerry. Great light, and the starfish are beautiful.

Stunning comp Jerry. I love the foreground and the smooth flow of the water around it.

Perfect timing here Jerry, the wave motion is exceptional and the reflected color is terrific. I'm not completely sold on keeping the bright sky in this, but great capture nonetheless.

I dig it. It works, in a kinda weird way. I like the way you composed mainly with the starfish and the blurred water. The light reflecting off the water is also especially sweet. Nice work! :toast:

Very nice Jerry. I really like the water movement going over the starfish. The reflected color looks great too.

Nice. Has a great tropical feel to it. Makes a Pina Colada sound good right now. :toast:

I love the elegant arrangement of the starfish and the light reflected from the water. I can see a crop on the sky the distant waves. It's great as it is though!

That's a great image. It just feels good to look at. Pulls me right in. I like the sharp starfish in the foreground. Looks like you caught the wave coming in instead of going out. Works well with the starfish.

Do you ever take that TS-E off?
