Not quite as active as Nates last week. This was another bird that strated feeding in the flooded paddock. It was using its foot to strip grain by pulling the stem through the toes with it bill and catching the individual grains in the V between the toes.

Great low angle, natural colors, pose, light and setting Rob. Love the details in the plumage shown here, especially the darks. Excellent exposure. Well done.

Wonderful job Rob. One gets a great sense of the bird's environment in this low angle shot. You timed the head turn very well. Beautiful colors in this species, I see you have resisted over saturating them.

Interesting bird and color scheme with the red beak, black head, dark blue neck, white tail and pink feet. I really like the way you get your low angles, excellent shot.

excellent, Rob. love the pose with head turn and raised foot. great colors and nice habitat, and a great low angle. only nit for me is I might smooth the edges of the pale double highlight to the right of the bird's bill--it's just a little distracting.
