We spent the night camping at Threeways Roadhouse and woke up to a beautiful morning. I got up early to go shooting at Devil's Pepples. Then when I came back, breakfast was ready and we enjoyed toast and coffee and above us galah's flying by....so after breakfast I tried my luck chasing galah's with my camera and then I saw this scene......thought this would make a pretty nice shot.

Techs: Nikon D700,f3.2, 1/4000 sec, iso 400

I like this shot. The dof is spot on with the background colors complimenting the colors in the birds and the faucet. Any brighter light on the birds would have burned it out. The blue drop of water from the faucet is a nice touch.
