Maybe, I look at things a little differently or interpret them wrong.
But, I thought this challenge was about weird, cheesey photos , that could become a cult favorite....like the old, 1956 B/W version of "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" Do you realize that "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" is still considered to be one of the ten most loved cult classic movies? I love the old horror movies, which are sooo bad, that you can see the seams of the monster's costume.
Several of the challenge photos seem to me as "missed opportunities" or are actually quite beautiful..like the Ghosts, the Skimmer and the Robin. I, particularly, like Mauro's robin photo! It is a beautiful capture of the speed of the wings and keeping the clarity of the the robin's eye. I would have put Mauro's photo in the Bird category any day of the week!
Anyway, this is my challenge entry. Enjoy. Maybe Godzilla and Mothra will like this! I'll bet Stan "gets it"! His humor seems to be much like my own!
***The photo is technically so bad! It was taken in the pouring rain through a double paned window. This little guy was standing on my porch lapping up the water in the slate depressions. That really caught my attention. I never thought about lizards getting thirsty. Did you? I think this is the strangest subject I've ever shot!!!
He was so grainy from the low light, and the water spatters looked like noise on his back. So, I used a bit of editing to make him stand out! This is about as "campy" as I can get!

Your only mistake was posting this on Thursday instead of 11:55 on Saturday--now someone else might 'get it'
I KNEW this was what you were looking for. I told you I was saving a photo for this theme!!!
I have kept this shot, not because it is any good...but, because I can't seem to "look away". So, to me, it is a keeper.
I told you I love this gallery the most!
Peter
Congrats on the EP!
