Mud Brain
by Eva McDermott
Low tide on Amherst Shores on the Northumberland Straight, Nova Scotia. The exposed mud at low tide reminded me of brain matter. The sand is a deep red color which is intensified in the warm early morning light. The blue is the reflection of the blue sky in puddles of water on the beach.

Ripples gone Wild! Wow, this is intense and as already mentioned, mesmerizing(didn't realize how many times it was used!.)
The only small nit I have is that some of the corners of the tops of the ripples in the LL quadrant appear clipped. Understand the conditions, the strong colors and intense light, but those little highlights are about the only thing that I can see trying to work on. Otherwise, yikes, great job seeing and capturing this one Eva.

I really like the dual colors in the mud. Very neat.

the blue reflection on the surface is alluring
