Very nice color. You must have been in a tree to get this image as near eye level as you did.

Hi Ingrid,

Very appealing! LIke the others I quite like the angle this was shot at (and I'm equally as curious as to how you got it!). Compositionally I have no nits, and only a very minor one technically - on my monitor some of the highlighted hairs (especially those on the back of the neck) look just a tad oversharpened (but this is an extremely minor thing and doesn't take away from the visual impact of the image).

Hi all,
Thanks for the comments. I remember exactly seeing this image and setting the camera for capturing it but...I've been wrecking my brain about what the terrain looked like...??? I was definitely standing up and photographing from the roof but I suppose we were possibly on an uphill road and the giraffe just happened to step into a ditch...Truth is...I can't remember
