Sunset Moonrise

This is a two image blend of Craig Lake, near the summit of McKenzie Pass in Oregon taken at the end of this past October. The light from the setting sun behind me was just hitting the tops of the trees as the moon rose.

1/20 and 0.8 sec @ f/16; 24mm; ISO 400; 24-105mm f/4L; tripod; remote release;
warming CP.

Cool reflections, but the presence of the moon with them makes the shot!

I like all the detail in this, no doubt for the blended images. Sun highlights are a nice bonus as is the moon.

It's always nice to watch the moon set/ rise along with the sun. Beautiful scene to capture while watching it here.

BTW, that "Surf Fishing" shot is super!
