Another Fox

I hope you don't mind another Fox image. I have always struggled with snow in an image. This time I processed the raw file twice, once trying to bring out detail in the snow, and again for the color and detail in the fox. I then blended the two. Larger version provided.
Comments and critiques appreciated.

Never get tired of fox shots - especially since I never seem to see them in person. A little light on the eyes is nice and the ridge helps with the composition.

Love your Fox images Dan! This one is fantastic and I think you really managed to bring out the details in the snow and the Fox, not an easy feat. I love the look on the Fox's face and the general COMP here. Nicely done.

What a beautiful photograph. I think I can see every strand of fur on the fox in the large version, and this fox has a beautiful, full winter coat. The diagonal line of the snow makes for a nice composition, but the expression on the face of the fox makes it for me; alert, observing for any small movement in the snow, and ready to pounce on a tasty delight. Well done.

Well Dan, looks like you have found the magic formula for snow images! It's a beauty. Warm tones in the fur and perfect white balance on the snow. You could crop just a little from the left side to get the fox less centered but the rest is "all good" as they say. :toast:

Looking great! No suggestions...but I prefer the more artistic feeling curving pose of the earlier post. Congrats for the great fox encounter and for making good on it!
