I shot this one early in the fall while working down in San Luis. The late afternoon light was a wonderful spectacle to watch.
Comments and critiques always welcome, and thanks for looking,

That's some great light. Loved the haze in the BG mountains which gives some sense of depth.
The dunes in the front look amazing in this light.

Lovely image Morris. The patterns, layers, and colors are all wonderful. I could see "de-fogging" or "haze cutting" the top and middle portion of the image to create more sharpness.

Beautiful indeed Morris! I love your layered comp here. I might suggest a little more contrast in upper half and some on the dunes as well, but this is just my preference, it's beautiful as is.

What to say: great light with a great subject!
I tried to crop out most of the sky and it gives a more darker feeling to the overall image.

Even though ive shot this scene probably 100 times, i never really tire of it--the light and conditions are always changing and you caught some great conditions here, brought to life with your usual pro job at presentation.

BG mountains look a little soft, maybe it's just haze? No biggie though.

I like the way the quality of atmosphere and your processing allows some warmth even in the shadow areas here, as opposed to the more typical warm/cool contrast.
