Eric, When I first viewed the thumbnail I thought that it seemed tight but when seeing the larger versions I like the way it fills the comp. A screaming Eagle!

Hey Eric, I really like the position of this Bald and the open wingspan is excellent. I do also wish for just a tiny bit more space on top...especially once you decide to print.

Sweet flight shot, Eric. I love that wingspread and open bill. I do agree with Kurt, it is a bit tight in the upper right corner if you plan on printing this. Great job.

Great pose and the open beak is an added bonus. Agree on more room.. For me all the way around would be even better. Nice image.

In this case I love the close crop and how you placed him in the frame. Love that open bill too.

Very nice. I like the open beak. Bet he was really loud. You might add a tad on top-but not much. I like the size he is here.

Really nice Eric. Love the flight position and open beak. Detail and sharpness look good. There is a halo around the bird, but that can be taken care of with relative ease. Well done.

The relatively dark blue sky is a fine background and helps the white tail and head stand out. Good job. I'm still paranoid about shooting this combo wide open, but this shows how capable it is.

Sweet eagle Eric, very sharp and excellent exposure, But, the added behavior of calling puts this one over the top.

Nice pose, open bill and light. Great view of the eye too. I may have increased the ISO and used an aperture of f8 so that the tail and lower edge of the eagle's right wing would be more in focus. I like the vertical comp but would leave more space on the right side of the frame if you have it and work on removing the halo.

Thanks for the feed back. I didn't have any room left as this was almost full frame. I always take the feed back to improve myself.
I have looked and looked and don't see the Halo you speak of. I had this photo printed to 10x8 and there is no evidence of a halo. Please help me understand and correct this.
Thanks in advance,,,

Despite the framing issue, your overall sharpness, color contrast, and image is excellent
