Cedar Canyon Repost
by Richard Teller
Here is another image I shot at the same time as the last one I posted. Basically the same shot only the camera angle was very slightly different angle. Shot in the afternoon when the sun was very low in the sky. I think I corrected some of the issues that were raised. Lon, you have better eyes then I do. I did not even see the circles on the other one. Thanks for your comments. I would appreciate any comments if this makes a better image.

4 commentsI prefer this version because of the much more natural, 'cooler' looking light, a bit less sky and no tripod leg shadow (?) in the lower right corner
Just to confuse things right off the bat... I like the warmer tones and light of the previous version. I hadn't noticed the shadow previously, but I suspect John has caught the old tripod shadow creature.
Still got those spots Richard. And a little closer inspection, it looks like some sensor dust bunnies as well in the snow. What I would recommend is that way before you resize for the web - and even before you start applying any adjustments to color, contrast, brightness, etc., I would take your original, bump it up to 100% view and scroll through the image cleaning up your dust spots. Then, research and determine the best and safest way to clean your sensor.
I really like this landscape - just needs some cleanup work.
