I used a window of relatively good weather to go hunting for snow buntings and shore larks along my local coast, but all I got was this stonechat, who was happy to hop around the pebbles and perched for a bit on this piece of old drift wood.

Perfect job David, I like the harmony of the colors in the background and the bird.

Yes I like the backdrop too and the positioning of the subject is spot on.

really nice study , comp and detail spot on . minor but no biggy is the very slight head turn .

That works very well David. The BKGR tones are perfect for the subject.

Good position and size in the frame. Nice catchlight. Spot on.
