Winter Wonderland

This photo is of barn in Middleboro, Ma. It is in an area that has been well developed. There are a handful of farms left in this area, but most of them, including this one are beingthreatened with development. Over the years, everything from hazardous waste dumps to regional airports, and sludge facilities have been proposed for this rural area. The latest plan is to put in thousands of retirement homes and a golf course. I guess things are looking better than they were. A group of citizens have banded together to try to preserve this region and its agricultural/rural character. I have been using my photography and writing skills to help them.
