Very beautiful shot, Sharon. I really love it !
It is very hard to deal with light in these conditions: either to increase the ISO or to reduce the speed...a difficult choice!
Please see my Winter Great Tit I posted early this week.
(See my answer to your question about my last post as well.)

Beautiful, Sharon. I like the falling snow and the holly is a nice perch for this species (though highly invasive around here). If this were mine, I might try using the healing brush or something similar to eliminate that one oof snowflake just below the feet-it seems rather distracting in that particular place. :toast:

I really like this image. Cardinals in the snow, either female or male always make a nice image. The falling snow is an extra bonus.

This is very nice. I like the entire mood of the shot. The snow falling is great. Pleasing composition and a nice look from the cardinal. Nice work

Very nice to see the female Cardinal posted....not near enough do we get to see them here. Sharon, I like everything about this one. Can you say next years Christmas Card? This would be perfect!

Fine winter shot, Sharon. I like the various colors here, including that of the tree at the rhs. I agree with Dennis that removing the distracting bright snowflake beneath the bird's foot would be a good idea. :toast:

The lighting is beautiful on this shot Sharon. I love that pose and the snow falling in the background. An all around excellent image.

Very nice Sharon, somehow I missed this very attractive image. Nice pose of the bird and I like the falling snow and the background, but to me what really sets this apart from other similar images is the green holly foliage. Well done!
