A shot from an amazing afternoon in november. The light we have up here in november is such a delight for a photographer. Several hours of the most gorgeous light.

This is shot 3 minutes away from my house...

Canon 5d w/17-40mmL, Polarizer and Lee 0.9 soft grad.

Cheers!

Smooth and Beautiful! Wonderful colors, fantastic sky and awesome reflection. I really do like how smooth the water is. Great work, Arild. What a place to have so close to home.

Arild, I love the soft reflection in the ice and the radiating clouds. I wish there was a little more room under the foreground rock, but that may not have been an option for you.

Great shot!

The smooth water is the result of a 30 sec exposure of already an already relatively calm sea...

Joseph, theres more rocks ( lot bigger than the one in the frame) under the foreground rock, so if i wanted more room i would have to clone and remove some of that. And i just dont do that :-) I wish there was more room :-)

Beautiful shot and I like the pano. I would also like to see a tad more room under the rock at the bottom, but that's extremely minor. You're lucky to live in such a beautiful place.

A little tight on the bottom for me, especially near the rock. Otherwise, a fine image.

I like the smoothed out surface of the water and superb colors. I can't find anything to nit here. This is well crafted scene and a beauty to look at!

First of all - congrats on living only 3 minutes from such a wonderful place. I guess I would spent every sunset out there.
Love the shot - it's a great view for a panorama of course. The colors are vivid and powerful. A little nit is the rock touching the bottom frame, but that's very minor.

I can't imagine having several HOURS of light similar to this! Beautiful color and light here Arild, more room for the rock in the FG would have been nice, but not a deal breaker for me.

Colorful, tranquil, and inviting. If you get several hours of light like this per day, you must be one happy puppy! Enjoy!
