Barn owl at dusk

Hi All

I've been working on barn- and short eared owls at a local site - this image was taken at the weekend and features a technically soft but aethesically atmospheric rendition of a well photographed subject.

All thoughts/opinions welcome.

Cheers,
Chris

Chris,

Like a ghost in the night. It gives the impression of the typical night time sighting. Great stuff.

this really has a night-time feel to it Chris, very nicely done. It has a different feel to it compared to the majority of barn owl images, which I like.

really like this, i'm impressed that you managed a dark background on what appears to be an upward looking shot, certainly essential for the image, just the right amount of motion too i think

Lovely shot, really artistic and a bit different too. I think the softness works well in this case.

Lovely shot, really an artistic feel! The wing blur and white feathers provide for a ghostly impression!
