Very unique and successful take on a slot canyon, Jeff. Looks like a canyon in the Swell. Love the composition and dark presentation of this one.

Sort of abstract. The sand cobble keeps wanting to be vertical.

The darkness of the image is true to life for sure. I like how you isolated the aggregates, nice work using the wideangle. Like Bret said, this appears to be Little Wild Horse or Bell Canyon. Am I right?

It's a nice enough scene and I like the wide angle effect, but I don't think the light is very good. Sorry...

I love the way the canyon walls just seem to burst out of the ground. Very well composed.

The composition, shapes and texture are really nice. As John says the light is only so-so. Try tweaking the colors/contrast or maybe go monochrome.

I really like the composition and the textures in this. As has been mentioned, the light is pretty poor. IMO, this would be a perfect candidate for Tony Kuyper's actions - I think so much more life could be brought out with a little more post processing using his Lum, Sat, and Glow actions.

Interesting image, and composition. You must return with light that makes this scene sing!

Interesting shot. I'd lighten the rear and darken the front a bit.

Such a great find and comp. I agree about a little more pop to bring out all the color and give it just a little more life. Very well done, Jeff! :toast:
