A Very Happy New year to all of you !

I happened to post a frame from this session, about two years back. This is different one and composed verticaly from a horizontal frame.
Thank you so much for your kind attention & views!

I have vague memories of that previous image. This one is great. Such loving interaction between the two. Nice details in that rough skin and the soft grasses.

Happy New Year, Jagdeep! The elephants against the grasses makes a very appealing image, and the clarity is great.

I like the way the mother's body has 'framed' the calf. Very well done! :toast:

Jagdeep,

I envy you! You manage to take some of the most exciting pictures I have ever seen. I wish I could spend a day in the field with you. This is a very touching, sensitive photo that portrays perfectly the bond between the adult and baby. It makes me want to protect them.

Hi Jagdeep,

And a HNY back at you! You've started the year with yet another strong image - well done! Besides really enjoying the image (I love the "natural frame" provided by mom!) I quite like the dual meaning of your image title - this one features both emotional and physical touching! Love the eye (especially on the larger version), details are great, and, as always, your techs are spot-on here.

Cheers...thanks for sharing this one, and I'm looking forward to a 2011 filled with Jagdeep Rajput images!

Excellent shot getting this tender moment, the look from the baby elephant really makes this shot for me but the overall composition really works, way to go, the larger version was a pleasure to view, outstanding.

She does a great job of framing (and protecting) that baby! Thanks for another good one, Jagdeep!
